The Sidney Yellow Jackets capped off an impressive season by finishing 3rd overall at the Miami Valley League (MVL) Championship on Monday, posting a team score of 310. More importantly, their strong showing secured them the 2025 Valley Division Championship, a testament to their consistency and determination throughout the season.
Led by a balanced team performance, Sidney held their own against tough competition in the MVL, showcasing the depth and poise that have defined their season. While they fell just short of the top spot in the overall standings at the championship, their cumulative success across the season earned them the coveted Valley Division crown.
“It’s a great feeling to bring the Valley Division title back to Sidney,” said head coach Bill Rippey. “The boys have worked hard all year, and they’ve earned every bit of this success.”
The Yellow Jackets’ performance at the MVL Championship caps off a memorable campaign, and with momentum on their side, the team is already looking forward to postseason play.
Congratulations to the Sidney Yellow Jackets — your 2025 MVL Valley Division Champions!
