The Cross Country teams competed at the Piqua Under the Lights Invite. 32 teams competed on a flat grass and dirt trail course on the Piqua 7-12 campus and Edison State Community College. Cooler temperatures, no wind, night racing, fireworks, music and massive amounts of energy in the crowd made for great running conditions.
High school races were split into two races, Open and Team. For most teams, the top 7 runners from each team competed in the Team race, with the remaining members running in the Open race. The boys team came in 28th in the Team race, with no one competing in the Open race. Both high school girls competed in the Open race.
