The Cross Country teams competed at the Troy Twilight Invite this past Saturday along the banks of the Great Miami River. Over 75 teams competed on a mostly flat dry and dusty grass course. Unlike the previous week, warmer weather and early evening sun made for tougher running conditions.
High school races were split into three races for male and female runners. Teams were ranked and placed into races of similar abilities (white, gray, scarlet). The boys team came in 23rd in the White Race, with 37 teams in that race. Finishing just ahead of the boys was league foe Stebbins. The HS girls raced in the Gray division, and there was only one race for middle school boys and girls.
