The Lady Jackets tennis team closed out their regular season with a strong showing at the Miami Valley League (MVL) tournament, finishing 6th overall and earning an impressive 2nd place in the Valley Division.

Sophomore Lexi Spade led the way for Sidney, finishing 4th in 1st Singles after battling through a tough bracket of top players from across the league.

Senior Joni Martin brought home a 5th place finish in 2nd Singles, showing great effort and focus throughout the tournament. In 3rd Singles, Senior Hailey Dietz also claimed 5th place, helping round out the team’s solid performance.

"I'm really proud of how we played this season," said Coach Gregory. "We all pushed each other to improve and supported one another through every match."

With several strong individual finishes and a top-two spot in their division, the Lady Jackets capped off their season with pride and momentum.

“We’ve grown a lot this year,” said Coach Gregory. “The girls worked hard, competed well, and represented Sidney with class.”
