The Sidney Yellow Jackets battled tough competition at the Troy Wrestling Invitational and finished 15th overall in a deep field of teams.
Sidney had two wrestlers reach the podium, both earning fourth-place finishes in their respective weight classes. Noah Laine put together a strong tournament run at 126 pounds, showing consistency and grit throughout the day. At 138 pounds, Tyson Woolum also fought his way to a fourth-place finish, adding valuable points for the Yellow Jackets.
Despite limited placers, Sidney continued to gain experience against high-level competition as the season progresses, with several wrestlers competing hard in closely contested matches.
