The Sidney Middle School wrestling team delivered a strong showing at the Wapakoneta tournament, finishing second overall with 208.5 team points.
Sidney crowned nine wrestlers as placers, highlighting the team’s depth and consistency across the lineup. The Yellow Jackets competed with intensity throughout the day, earning key wins and scoring critical points in tightly contested matches against a strong field of opponents.
The second-place finish reflects the continued growth of the program as Sidney’s wrestlers gain valuable experience and confidence heading deeper into the season.
