Sidney’s Paidynn Marshal turned in an impressive performance at the Lady Pioneers Classic on Sunday, finishing second in the 125-pound weight class at Jonathan Alder High School.

Marshal went 4-1 on the day, navigating a highly competitive bracket that featured wrestlers from 30 teams. She opened the tournament with strong early wins, showing composure and control on the mat, and advanced to the championship bout with a spot on the podium already secured.

Facing tough competition throughout the day, Marshal’s runner-up finish highlighted her continued growth and resilience against some of the area’s top talent.

The Lady Pioneers Classic brought together programs from across the region, providing a challenging test and valuable experience as Sidney continues its season.
