The Sidney High School swim teams turned in an impressive performance at the MVL Championship, highlighted by a championship effort from the boys team and several standout individual finishes.

The Sidney boys captured the Division Title and followed it up with a third-place finish overall, showcasing depth and consistency across events. A key highlight came in the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the boys team surged to a third-place finish, helping secure their spot among the meet’s top programs.

Individually, freshman Jeremiah Taylor made an immediate impact, earning third place in the 200 individual medley. Senior Nick Dietz added to the scoring with a strong third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, closing out his league meet career on the podium.

The Sidney girls also delivered a strong showing, finishing second in the division and fifth overall. Leading the way was freshman Emmie Braun, who continued her breakout season by placing second in the 100-yard backstroke, establishing herself as one of the MVL's rising talents.

With championship hardware, multiple podium finishes, and strong performances from both underclassmen and seniors, the Sidney swim program capped off a highly successful MVL meet and set a promising tone for the Road To State.
