It was a proud day for the Sidney football program as three Yellow Jackets took the next step in their athletic and academic journeys, officially committing to play college football.
Seniors Joe Boehm and Ishod Diomande will continue their careers together at Otterbein University, while Marc Fleming is set to join Defiance College.
For Boehm and Diomande, the opportunity to stay teammates at the collegiate level makes the moment even more special. Both players have been key contributors to Sidney’s success, bringing consistency, toughness, and leadership to the field. Their decision to head to Otterbein reflects not only their athletic ability but also their dedication to continuing their development at the next level.
Fleming, meanwhile, has carved out his own path with his commitment to Defiance College. Known for his work ethic and impact on the field, Fleming’s signing is a testament to the time and effort he has put into his game throughout his high school career.
All three athletes represent the values of the Sidney program—hard work, resilience, and team-first mentality. Their signings are not only personal achievements but also a reflection of the strength of the Yellow Jackets football culture.
As they prepare for the next chapter, Boehm, Diomande, and Fleming leave behind a legacy that will inspire future Sidney players. Now, they turn their focus to competing at the collegiate level, carrying Yellow Jacket pride with them every step of the way.
