Sidney High School senior Caroline Lacy has officially signed with the University of Dayton to continue her academic and athletic career as a collegiate cheerleader.
Lacy has distinguished herself not only on the sidelines and competition mat, but also in the classroom. She carries an impressive 4.3 GPA and is an active member of both the National Honor Society and Key Club, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and community service throughout her high school career.
A dedicated cheerleader for all four years at Sidney, Lacy has been a key member of both the Varsity Sideline and Competition Cheer teams. Her leadership, consistency, and performance have made her a standout within the program. Her efforts were recognized at the league level, as she earned All-MVL (Miami Valley League) Cheerleader honors twice—once in her junior year and again as a senior.
Known for her work ethic and team-first attitude, Lacy has played an important role in representing Sidney with pride and energy. Her ability to balance the demands of academics and athletics has set a strong example for her peers.
At the University of Dayton, Lacy will join a respected cheer program while continuing to pursue her academic goals. Her signing reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and passion for both school and sport.
