Emilee Haynes- Sophomore- Soccer:
Sophomore Emilee Haynes is making a big impact early in the season, currently ranking 7th overall in the MVL in scoring with 11 points on 4 goals and 3 assists. In Sidney’s 3-2 victory over Lima Bath, Haynes delivered an outstanding performance, recording a hat trick with 3 goals and 6 total points. Her ability to both score goals and create opportunities for her teammates makes her one of the Yellow Jackets’ most dangerous offensive players. Emilee has shown she can score and assist with the best of them, and her strong start is a great sign for the rest of the season.

Leyton Goffena- Freshman- Golf:
Freshman Leyton Goffena is off to an outstanding start to his high school golf career. Leyton currently ranks 10th overall in the MVL with a 39.3 scoring average. He was the medalist in Sidney’s victory over Fairborn, firing an impressive 37. Leyton followed that performance with a solid 40 in the Yellow Jackets’ win over West Carrollton. His strong play early in the season is a great indication of what’s ahead for this talented freshman.
